When I got my buttons I was seduced by the colour and how they felt in my fingers as I rubbed them. As I moved fingers over and around each button it was little bit like a prayer bead the sensation was pleasant and relaxing for an item that is ordinary, everyday and useful. I wanted to make an image that showed both the industrious work side and the day dream side of a button in your fingers.
