Artist statement

I am a painter based in Melbourne.

My current work is focused on memories, dreams and the subconscious.

The work is an exploration of domestic interiors, since the home is where we dream and memories are made.

It is also an intimate place, where we can retreat into our own mind space.

The paintings that I make using oils on linen are glimpses of domestic interior spaces. They are often not fully described, like a fragmented recollection of a dream or memory.

 I always like taking the opportunity to participate in group shows and I am a current member of the 69 Collective.
