Artist statement

I mainly work in oils on canvas however sometimes also sketch in charcoal. I'm mainly drawn to portraiture for my love of people and their quirks. I try to capture something unique in each person I paint, something that tells the viewer about them. I also paint still-lives where I aim to capture a moment in time, a story, a mood, or a memory. I also enjoy sculpting mini-busts and creating small sculptures from mixed materials.

I am open to all sorts of exhibitions and project opportunities and look forward to furthering my art journey in every way possible, but ultimately I do it for the pure love of it!
