Artist statement

I make art that is meaningful.

Installations that are about the past, the present and the future.

It is created to make us all think and to reevaluate what we do and what we stand for.

I trained as a performance artist and performed for many years, creating new work. I still perform ever so often, but my work now sits in the gallery space where the viewer is the performer and the objects are the performers.

I have been presenting artwork since 1998. Taking inspiration from different cultures, my own personal experience and the views and actions of others, I create stories and images for different spaces.

I have worked with artists and directors such as Rose English, Bobby Baker, Dawn Rose, Penny Howe, Fiona Blair, Jane Badler and Jude Anderson to produce performances, installations, site-specific and digital artworks.
