Artist statement

My Art mainly revolves around people but I also love cityscapes.

I’ve aways adored drawing so I normally create my art through drawing and painting, plus collage sometimes.

Why do I make my art? Why does a bird fly or a fish swim? Haha! I joke but I am also serious, I create my art because it’s my favourite thing to do, to get lost in it and express what I cannot express with words. If others enjoy my work, even better.

I’m trying to communicate a positive message underneath my art, whether it about life, death or a beautiful city skyline, there’s an underlying message to take from it. I don’t like using the word ‘hope’ as it’s wishful thinking as opposed to knowing you’re OK no matter what happens.

I’m open to all exhibition opportunities and happy to travel, but I prefer not to do commissions as such as I would rather create art that I am inspired to create. Saying that, if it moves and inspires me, I’m open to it!
