Artist statement

I am a textile artist based in rural Southern Germany. Even as a child I loved needlework and sewing by hand, this is my kind of meditation. In the last years I combined natural dying and felting with ecoprint and sewing to create quilts and embroidery, framed and wearable art. It's always a mystery when leaves create their magic on plain white textile. Every leaf in every country has it's own language and I would love to learn from all of them. I am fascinated in deconstruction preloved cloth and give it a second life in my art.

I am particularly interested in international opportunities, to any offer of exhibitions and would love to work to commission with designers.
