1st Prize offered by Art Aviso in partnership with our collaborating gallery partner The Motley Bauhaus = $1500 AUD plus a *two-week solo exhibition at The Motley Bauhaus.
People’s choice award = $500 AUD

Description
Your vision for a future world – how does it look?
Is it a dystopian landscape laid to waste by climate change denial, political instability and economic inequality or an idyllic society driven by cleaner energy, major technological breakthroughs, acceptance, and the abolition of loneliness?
Art Aviso in conjunction with our Gallery partners The Motley Bauhaus (Night Gallery) would like to invite Art Aviso artist subscribers who identify as emerging artists to submit a small artwork no larger than 20x20cm for inclusion in the ‘Future Visionary’ 20x20 exhibition. This is a curated exhibition and prize – only long listed applications will be included in the physical and online exhibitions.

Entry requirements and conditions
We provide a long submission window to encourage the creation of new works. Artwork selected for inclusion in ‘Future Visionary 20x20’ should be no larger than 20x20cm and be ready for installation. All mediums are encouraged to submit.
All successful submitting artists will be invited to offer their artwork for sale, the Gallery (The Motley Bauhaus) will apply a commission on sales of 20%. There is no cost for the artists to submit or exhibit artwork if their submission is successful. We hope the removal of Gallery fees and low commission further encourages experimentation and innovation in each artist’s creative practice and encourages artistic excellence.

Selection of Artwork will be made by Art Aviso, The Motley Bauhaus and emerging curator/s. All Art Aviso Artists are encouraged to apply, however not all entries will be successful. Final Prize winners will be selected by a panel of judges (TBA).
Entrants must warrant that their entries are their original work. They must be the sole copyright holder and intellectual property owner of their entries in accordance with Australian and International law and warrant that any intellectual property rights and moral rights of a third party have not been infringed. Intellectual property rights in entries remain with the entrant as the copyright owner. It is a condition of entry that the entrant grants to Art Aviso and the member Gallery licence to use, publicly display, publicise, reproduce the entry or part of an entry, including in electronic form and broadcast, for publicity, promotional, educational, and administrative purposes associated with the Art Aviso Event 2023.3
Once work has been delivered to the Gallery it will fall under the exhibition Terms and conditions of The Motley Bauhaus and Art Aviso.
Delivery of Artwork
Artists will be responsible for the delivery of artwork in a timely manner either by post or courier or to the exhibition venue (or as otherwise arranged) and the collection of an unsold artwork must be organised within 7 days of the end the exhibition
Artists are responsible for any costs associated with the transport of artwork to the exhibition venue, including insurance.
