I made this artwork in response to the colour and stitching on the buttons I received as they were predominantly blue with white detailing. Whilst deciding what to paint I spent many Saturday’s listening to my partner’s band practice this song ‘Fly me to the moon (In other words)’ and as I sketched circular pictures I found the music and instrument coming out in my drawings. This painting is the end result with combined memories of music and buttons on a piece of card.
