About
Dark Horse Experiment is a contemporary art gallery in Melbourne's Docklands whose philosophy seeks to push the idea of contemporary and experimental art. (It is in essence a research gallery) The gallery opened its doors in 2008 as Michael Koro Galleries but changed its name in 2011
Its Director Adrian Doyle shares the curatorial responsibility with emerging and experimenting curators. There is a clear determination, however, to maintain the experimental aspect in every exhibition. As to what is exhibited, anything goes.
Dark Horse Experiment gallery will always aim to show the most contemporary art research in any medium.
Functions and Events
The Director will consider requests for gallery venue hire on an occasional basis. For details of availability and fees, please contact gallery staff by telephone.
