Artist statement

 I use found images to make surreal collage and mixed media images. The work is intuitive which   evolves when I am inspired by a particular shape, colour or image.   Within the collage work you will see a mixture of different media including ink and acrylic paint.  I also paint still-life images that are inspired by Giorgio Morandi.   You will find me regularly posting painting, collage and most recently experimental stop motion animation works on instagram (annewarrenart).  Please also visit my website at https://www.annewarrenart.com/ for blog updates and new images.
