Artist statement
My art is very immediate. I often have little control over what I paint. Colour seems to dictate where i go to. I work on preused canvases. Not only does this sit well with my preoccupation of not buying anything new, it also gives my work a soul. I paint everyday. I have to. Its as simple and as complicated as that. Its like being in a relationship. Only with paint. Having only started painting mid 2019 and with no training Im head over heels to see where this goes.
