Artist statement

I like it when I get a physical reaction from people when they view my art. I like the whimsy, fun, sometimes political and sexual nature of life.
I love trying to express the fierceness of a female along with the shy, bold and often vulnerable side and I try to challenge social norms sometimes like squeezing a bit of lemon juice into a cut.
The abstract nature of my work tries to blur the edges of reality and hopefully makes people smile, wonder and sometimes to think and create conversation.

I dabble in painting and sculpture and on some welded pieces too. I would love to be involved in exhibitions with exciting thought provoking and challenging artists that also like to have some  fun with the art that they create.
