Artist statement

Whilst I began as a painter, my art is nowadays most often sculptural assemblage made by using a jigsaw on new and found timber. I make art because I enjoy how time passes when I am making it. It feels like the most productive use of my time. Ideas pop into my head and when they feel right, I set out to make them. I suppose I am trying to express the way I see the world through objects. I suppose I am saying, I was here and I made this. I am open to all kinds of exhibitions and projects.
