Artist statement

I paint on found pieces of wood. My images depict the lost, lonely & lovely people, monsters & animals who otherwise would be too ugly to paint. I try to tell a little of their complex stories in a brief encounter while at the same time leaving us all wondering whats really going on? They are an attempt for me to understand the world & all the weirdos who inhabit it......

I have a graphic art background & can make & design work for print ready. I am interested in continuing to paint & create one off works. I am also interested in large scale mural projects.
