The fabric has been entwined in red rose petals, then soaked in hot water, rose petals refreshed and process repeated. When dried, it was the painted with white dots. then golden thread was woven through part of the fabric. This works represents a journey through life which encompasses loss and triumphs in its’ many forms.

Julie is a mulit discilpinary artist working across a range of media from outdoor sculpture, installation through to painting, printmaking and photomedia. More recently she has been working in photomedia and printmaking. She thoroughly enjoys the challenge and the process of making work using a variety of materials. Her work is in private and public collections.
