We live in a world of change. Traditional methods of having children still exist, but it’s often extended to choices. You choose the method and process, or leave it to fate for a decision. Yet babies are still born via a womb within a female body known as a mother.

This work is about the birth of a button called Pearl and the different processes leading to its arrival, surrounded by the guardians and keepers of the womb. In this work I have merged both traditional and new to represent change.
